The Esplanade Restaurant and E Bar
 Enjoy the ambience in the newly opened E Bar,
a lounge bar with a cosy atmosphere created by the elegant Edwardian
decor, and roaring fire (in winter!) In summer soak up the
harbour atmosphere through the open bifold windows. Relax and
take in the view across the harbour to Auckland. The E Bar
specialises in serving New Zealand Craft Beers, and a boutique wine
selection from all corners of NZ. Currently we have on tap, Peroni,
Grolsch, Moa and Tuatara.
Enjoy our recently opened Esplanade Restaurant, and experience our new dining options combining French culinary flair with fresh New Zealand produce. Richard and Polo from southern France, have taken up residence in Devonport, and are the new in-house Chefs at Esplanade Restaurant. View below for a taste of what is available in September and October (new dishes are added daily). There are also vegetarian and gluten-free meals available.

Relax in the Edwardian decor and enjoy High Tea at Esplanade Restaurant on Fridays and Sundays 11.30am 2pm. Our High Tea costs $30 per person, or $36 per person with a glass of bubbles. Bookings are essential.

The E Bar and Esplanade Restaurant make a gorgeous
venue for for Private Functions and Special Events,
such as weddings, birthdays, and anniversaries and special occasions such as
Christmas Day, Valentines Day, Mothers' Day, and New Years Eve. We can cater
for all options, from formal weddings, to canapes for a small gathering.
